Challenge
The client’s distribution management system, originally built in Delphi, had grown increasingly difficult to maintain as their business expanded. With performance issues, frequent crashes, and a lack of support for newer technologies, they faced challenges in managing inventory, shipping, and order processing efficiently. Additionally, the system was incompatible with newer database systems and lacked flexibility to integrate with modern tools.
Solution
We migrated the client’s Delphi-based distribution management software to C# using the .NET Core framework. This transition included updating the system architecture for better performance and scalability. We integrated the system with modern databases and enhanced the user interface for a more intuitive experience. Additionally, we incorporated real-time data syncing capabilities to provide up-to-date information for warehouse managers and field agents.
