Challenge
The client was running an in-house Delphi 7 ERP for POS, inventory, and finance. It had slowed down drastically as the business expanded across more locations. Manual syncing between stores caused frequent data mismatches and delays in reports.
Solution
We overhauled the application architecture to support modular deployment and real-time syncing using FireDAC with modern database drivers. The POS module was optimized for offline mode with seamless background syncing. We also implemented cloud-based dashboards for centralized inventory control. We also collaborated on clients enhancement and maintenance tasks during this process.
Result
The ERP system now supports over 400+ locations with smooth performance. Sync time dropped from hours to minutes, and real-time reports gave leadership better control over stock, pricing, and sales.
